The Beauty of Britain

Forgotten Guardian

The sea defences at Happisburgh have taken the most almighty battering by the North Sea. Examining them closely it is possible to see stones driven into the wood by the action of the waves. At one point the sole remaining element of the defences is this solitary post that seems to stand defiant against the raging sea.
