Autumn in Epping Forest

Autumn brings out the colours in the ferns of Furze Plain,Epping Forest.

Over many years I have been attempting to get a shot of this area in Epping Forest but I have never been able to achieve a satisfying composition.

Autumn came really early this year and the ferns turned in to a carpet of fantastic colours complementing the just beginning to turn leaves of the tree.
